Where to Attend High School in Mission Viejo | Capistrano Valley High School
Capistrano Valley High School has a very interesting boundary as we have covered it before. The reason it has shown up in other cities is that the boundary goes through multiple cities in Orange County. As you can see from the photo above, the boundaries make a sort of horses leg and it goes through Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills, and Laguna Niguel. That means it is possible for Capistrano Valley High School to have students from each of these cities. The northernmost part of this boundary starts in Rancho Santa Margarita and the southernmost boundary is in San Juan Capistrano. This high school also is a part of the Capistrano Unified School District.
Where to Attend High School in Mission Viejo | Mission Viejo High School
When it comes to interesting boundaries, Mission Viejo schools take the cake. The boundary for Mission Viejo High School isn’t just one, but two separate areas. The first and most populated area is for the majority of the city of Mission Viejo. This boundary covers the majority of the city which means if you live in Mission Viejo, you will most likely be attending Mission Viejo High School. But to the east of Mission Viejo is another area that is covered by Mission Viejo High School. The second boundary covers Robinson Ranch and parts of the Cleveland National Forest. As you can see in the image above, the boundaries are both big and that means a lot of students can attend Mission Viejo.
Where to Attend High School in Mission Viejo | Trabuco Hills High School
Trabuco Hills High School also has two areas that are covered within its boundaries. Unlike with Mission Viejo High, these two areas are right next to each other and even touch in one very small area. However, the area where they touch is right on top of highway 241. Another interesting aspect of this high school is that though it does cover a small part of Mission Viejo, it mostly services other nearby cities. Still, the northern part of Mission Viejo is covered by Trabuco Hills High School. Trabuco Hills High is also closer to Mission Viejo than most of the other cities it services.
